Help me help youth in Southwest Mississippi

Hi all,

I wanted to do something good and make the world a better place. When I found out that Pike School of Art — Mississippi's Youth Arts Empowerment Team addresses a multi-faceted problem within the community, primarily centered on the disengagement and systemic marginalization of youth who are most impacted by cycles of harm and violence, I knew I had to help.

That's why I created a fundraiser to support Pike School of Art — Mississippi. Their campaign establishes a permanent Youth Arts Empowerment Team, repositioning youth as civic leaders and visionary artists, and shifting the narrative in the community regarding safety and justice. It also directly addresses gun violence by providing safe spaces and using artistic practices to counter the idea of violent lifestyles as the only path. The ultimate end goal is to empower youth to become agents of change and community stewards and to create lasting policy and cultural shifts within the community through youth-led initiatives—and you can be a part of it.
